Pros: Shipped promptly, arrived in one piece, looks just like the picture
Con: At first, I thought I received too many wise men and no Joseph. I'm wondering if the pieces look very similar and it is hard to differentiate between some of them - because of the wood carving. Otherwise, I was happy with my purchase.

We got this set last Christmas and the kids still love playing with it this year. My daughter especially! Highly recommended as an affordable wooden set.

Love this set! Great for young children!May 03, 2011

I wanted a safe manger scene that my children could play with. It was a big hit. It is a little hard to distinguish the figures, but they figure it out, or it doesn't matter to them. The girls all loved being able to play with it, and we always managed to find the pieces afterwards. :-) A great set. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

This is a great, simple and natural-looking set. I was a bit disappointed at how small it is. I did look at the measurements before I bought it but should have actually measured it out to get a better idea. Oh well, I'm keeping it, I really like it.

I thought the nativity scene was really cute. Its made of a very nice wood, but the carving is somewhat primitive. If its ever sold in a larger size, I would buy that one as well. I do recommend this set.
